BIO:
Forced Entry has labeled their "BORN ON" date as the summer of 1997. Forced Entry wasted no time in releasing their debut album "American Beauty" in 1999, which helped them land a development deal with Sony Music. Unfortunately, the band's biggest ally, John Kalodner (AC/DC, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, White Zombie, Madness, XTC, Whitesnake, Wang Chung, and Aerosmith), left Sony shortly thereafter and so did the band. The release of the Sony Music epic never transpired and Forced Entry was sentenced to the next few years of playing college gigs and club circuits in the southeast. That's just the surface... Usually under the surface there is something with more substance and a stronger foundation that is never known... here is that information...
Tony Thomas (Bass, Lead Vocals) proudly served in the Persian Gulf War during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. After serving over six years, he was honorably discharged. In December of that same year, Tony secured a Civil Service position working for the Department of Pathology providing diagnosis assistance for health care providers and beneficiaries in the southeast region and also began a career in radio. After five years, he made the move from studio to soundstage to pursue entertaining. After completing his baccalaureate studies in History and Spanish, he moved into Public Affairs and Marketing for Martin Army Community Hospital where he currently works today.
Mike Moore is from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mike Moore has proudly served in the United States Army as an Army Ranger assigned to 3rd Ranger Battalion and 75th Ranger Regiment (Regimental Reconnaissance Detachment). Mike is a graduate of numerous military schools such as Ranger, SERE Level-C, Jumpmaster, Halo, Air Assault and Belgian Para Commando. He also served as a Ranger Instructor at 4th Ranger Training Bn, Mike also deployed in support of OIF1 with Company H 121st Infantry (ABN)(LRS) and works today as a Senior Instructor teaching Pre Ranger.
Rob Hall (Guitar, BV) is the only true Georgia native on the roster. Although not affiliated with the military Rob has given countless hours playing benefit shows for the military. When he's not on stage Rockin' Out, he's out on some dock fishing and enjoying the beautiful days that are a god-given gift of the South. It is those same simple traits that always lead us to our unique sound that is driven by Rob. He has the innate ability to craft chords, riffs and structure, which have always been the backbone of our music. Rob is proof that less is more.
Collectively, we make music. We all write songs, and as a band, that responsibility is shared equally. Most bands are the supporting cast behind the singer/songwriter. Forced Entry is fortunate that all members have the ability to write. Our voice you hear is that of three, which gives the listener a variety of personal experiences that ultimately, they can also relate to.
